GERALDINE RONAN
Geraldine Ronan has worked as an actor, producer, script consultant and director in film, television and theatre. Her recent film and T.V. credits include roles playing opposite International Award winning actors such as Cate Blanchett, Sarah Paulson and Melanie Lynskey in FX Network’s Mrs. America, Sonja Smits in Lifetime Television’s A Mother’s Lie, USA Network’s pilot Dare Me directed by Steph Green and MGM Television series Condor directed by Andrew McCarthy. Geraldine can be seen in numerous other T.V. and award winning indie films in The Craftsman, Hometown Holiday and Fireworks. She has appeared in The Freshman starring Marlon Brando and Matthew Broderick and Columbia Tristar’s Odyssey 5 featuring Peter Weller and Christopher Gorham.
Geraldine performed the Lead role of Kim in Walter’s Way and dubbed as the films co-producer and script consultant. It won two AUDIENCE CHOICE awards at RUFF and T.O. Short Film Festival as well as an AWARD of EXCELLENCE from CANADASHORTS Film Festival. The short film made its World Premiere at Edmonton International Film Festival, American Premiere at Julien Dubuque International Film Festival, screened in International Film Festivals across North America and has been selected to be part of the Asbury Shorts Film Concert tour which screens award winning International short films in selected cities across the United States. Other short films she has been in have screened at Sioux City International Film Festival, Toronto Shorts International Film Festival, Toronto Independent Film Festival, Creation International Film Festival and NewFilmmakers NY.
In theatre The Outstretched Hand and Shoreline are original shows that Geraldine has directed, produced and performed in as well as directing a cast of 400 performers at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. Geraldine’s memorable performances in theatre include Lady Macbeth in Macbeth, Irena in The Three Sisters, Agnes in Agnes of God, Louise in The Fox on the Fairway and Katchen von Heilbrun in Patria 1 directed by Christopher Newton.
